I just took delivery of my 2012 Veloster this past Wednesday and I wanted to send you both a quick note to tell you how impressed I am with the both the car and the service experience so far.
 
The service I received from both Lynn and Sara through the purchase process was exceptional they were very personable and professional making what is usually a stressful and dreaded time into a very positive experience.
 
As for the car, Well it's been three days and I still can't wipe the grin off my face.  I love it!  I had been putting off a new car purchase for quite a while and because I have a lengthy daily commute I needed a car that would provide exceptional fuel economy but I didnt want an econobox.  The Veloster ticks all the boxes for me it has a ton of standard features at a price that can't be beat, its comfortable, fun to drive and It looks likes nothing else on the market.

I went to Lauria Hyundai in Port Hope (over an hour from where I live) because they were the only dealer of 3 I contact who offered to find me the car I was looking for. Belleville and Kingston dealerships just told me they didn't have the car I wanted but didn't offer to look for one.

 

 

 

 

I live in Georgetown, so I went to the Hyundai dealerships in Milton and Mississauga first. I felt that those dealerships were very impersonal; and didn't follow up with me after I went for a test drive/expressed interest in a purchase. I contacted Lauria Hyundai because I found the Tucson in the colour i was interested in on their website. Michael got back to me right away and continued to follow up with me until we agreed on a price I was comfortable with. He was very customer service oriented! I had a great experience with Lauria Hyundai and would recommend them to anyone in the GTA looking to by a car. Other Hyundai dealerships should use Michael and Lauria Hyundai as their customer service models.

Paul Smith was far and above the best person we spoke with at multiple dealerships. Although he was able to secure the best financial deal, I would have gone through him regardless due to the level of trust I had with him and the service level he offered. I've already passed his name on to a few friends who will be looking for cars in the near future. Despite not being within close physical proximity, it's well worth the trip to Port Hope to deal with Paul.

I was out looking at vehicles at approx. 5:00 pm on a Saturday night. I met this man called Gabe as I was tooling through the Hyundai dealership in Port Hope, Ont. I thought it was unusual for a man to be there that late on a Saturday. He came out and answered every question I wanted answers for. This was about 3 weeks before I bought my new Tucson. I told my friend who was with me that if I decide to buy a Hyundai I will buy from this man. Approx. 3 weeks later I met with Gabe and the rest is history. When i walked onto the lot at Lauria Hyundai she came out as i was looking at the used cars on the lot as i was looking for a smaller more economical car for travelling back and forth to work.
