I have had the pleasure of dealing with him a handful of times now, and I always leave with a smile (even when an unexpected big bill is attached to that trip). As a woman, it’s more often than not that I have left a service department feeling stupid. My car knowledge is quite minimal, and most times I am spoken to like I’m dumb. Blair has a great way with words and is always happy to explain the situation/issue in a way where I understand and can leave feeling like my knowledge has expanded.

Great customer service isn’t always easy to find but I have found that with him time and time again.

I live in Trenton now but will still make the trip to Port Hope because feeling confident that I’m not being given the go-around is very important.

A very good experience. We were met on time by the sales manager who showed us around the lot pointing out different models and colours. We went for a test drive and by that time we had decided on the colour. The finance manager pointed out all our options including the idea of leasing. We decided to go with purchasing the SUV and he introduced us to a new kind of insurance that will cover minor dents and problems that will be worthwhile in keeping up the appearance of the vehicle. A week later we arrived and right on time the car was waiting to change the license plates. We were given a really good overview of all the features of the car. We left with a new, very clean car, full tank of gas, and a friendly feeling. We do own another Hyundai and therefore deal at the Peterborough dealership, but after this experience we are tempted to make the drive to Port Hope.

I have always had a great experience with the sales staff (Janis Devine) and with the service department. The service department obtained the tires that I wanted at a good price and when I wanted to add some work on the car (I thought an oil change was due) the service advisor said it was not necessary and that I could continue for several weeks longer. Her advice reflects the other service advisor that I had received in the past – if it is not necessary it should not be done (saving me money) and if the work is minimal I have not been charged for that work (makes me trust your service people!). If you sold gas I’d only get my gas at Lauria. I will be back to Lauria for my car service needs and when I need a new car I will be back as well. I have and will continue to recommend Lauria Hyundai for purchases and service.

“My purchasing decision was one of the best I ever had…”
I have already driven over 1,500Km in my new Hyundai Genesis sedan (Technology package) in less than a week and I can’t wait to tell you what I think about the car. I have been driving for over 45 years, own more than a dozen cars and driven over 2 million Km in that period of time and never enjoyed driving a car so much.
I have owned 3 Hyundai cars (Stellar and 2 Sonatas) in the late 80’s and early 90’s and thought back then that they were the best cars money can buy. The cars served me very well with no problems whatsoever, but I ended up going back to Toyota for one reason or another (96, 03, 07 Camry). I also owned a 2000 BMW 328 which I enjoyed driving very much but found it too expensive and sold it after a year.
When I bought my 2007 Camry V6 SE, I was certain that this would be my last car, but after test driving the Genesis 2009 last week, I quickly became a convert and realized again that Hyundai was the best kept secret in the industry and by far the best car money can buy. I would compare this car with a high end BMW 5 series or Mercedes which I could get for about $25,000 more than I paid for my Genesis.
The workmanship and attention to details is second to none. The technology package is a must have, the ride (Comfort, quietness and power) is amazing. The sound system (17 Speakers, 500Watts) is out of this world.
This is clearly a dream car that everybody should look at and test drive before considering anything else.
My purchasing experience was also one of the best I ever had. Carrie was extremely professional and very personable, she allowed me to take the car for a couple of hours with no pressure and no strings attached, and gave me all the financial details that I needed to make a wise decision, and as they say the rest is history.
So Congratulations “Lauria” in becoming a Hyundai dealership and I would like to wish you enormous success.

After having my vehicle only 2 weeks, I brought in my Santa Fe for service to repair a condensation build up in my tail light. within 5 minutes, I had the problem seen by service technician and they tried to repair but opted for a more efficient option of replacing the light. i was out the door within 15 minutes and had an appointment for the soonest time once the part had been ordered. DEAR SIR MADAM: The main reason for the purchase was the high gas mileage rating on the car and the great financing. The real kicker for me was finding out that the car has a timing chain instead of a timing belt, not interested in changing timing belts every 100,000kms. previous vehicles had 450,000kms on 2000 Savana van and 350,000kms on 2003 Astro van I need the better mileage of this vehicle and hoping to get the mileage that I did an the previous vehicles.
